Is the IcyNen LD foam <urethane water-absorbent>?

Developed to absorb almost no water! Introducing the results of the polyurethane foam water absorption test.

Polyurethane, like sponge and similar materials, is fundamentally a material that easily absorbs water. When it absorbs water due to rainwater intrusion and retains it, it can cause mold growth, as well as degradation or deformation and shrinkage due to hydrolysis. "Icynene LD Foam" is a spray foam polyurethane developed with a unique cell structure that minimizes water absorption, and the difference is evident. In the North American ASTM D2862 water absorption test results for spray polyurethane, the water absorption rate was only "5%", showing more than a tenfold difference compared to other companies. Is the Icynene LD foam (spray polyurethane) smelly?

Polyurethane foam has a distinctive odor known as amine smell when sprayed. However, this dissipates to a level that is hardly noticeable to humans within 24 hours after spraying.
